EPISODE 3 – “Americana: Classical to Bluegrass” follows strands of American folk music from Antonin Dvořák’s cherished “American” Quartet No. 12 in F major, Op. 96 to the world premiere of Alisa Rose’s “Fiddle Caprice.” Impressionistic, sun-dappled, and joyful this third and final episode is performed in an orchard of elder trees and features composer and fiddler Alisa Rose for her lyrical performance that pushes the boundaries of classical and bluegrass, crafting an all-new, all-American richness of sound.
