Alliana Lili Yang

15-year-old Alliana was the youngest college-curriculum student at The Juilliard School and the SFCM Vocal Academy. She has garnered over 70 prizes in competitions worldwide, and performed at Carnegie Hall, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and the Vatican.

Alliana Lili Yang is a 15-year-old classical soprano, actor, and performing arts prodigy from the San Francisco Bay Area. She has trained and performed with the San Francisco Opera, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, A.C.T. San Francisco, Broadway Sacramento, Actors Technique NY, and Westlake School for the Performing Arts. Her favorite roles include Martha Cratchit in A.C.T.'s A Christmas Carol, Cis in Pocket Opera's Albert Herring, and Joey in BKA/Broadway Sacramento's Super Happy Awesome News!. She has performed in professional opera productions with leading Bay Area companies, including Pocket Opera's Madama Butterfly and Festival Opera's productions of Handel's Alcina and Verdi's La Traviata. During the 2022 and 2024 holiday season, she starred in an immersive production of A Christmas Carol with Silicon Valley Shakespeare.

Academically, Alliana successfully completed three years of undergraduate-level studies through The Juilliard School Extension Division, earning Honors distinction. She is also a Summer Vocal Academy alumna of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a member of the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS).
Alliana sings in eleven languages, has been featured in the Bay Area's news media, and appeared on the covers of two top magazines. A multiple winner of prestigious international vocal competitions, Alliana has earned more than seventy awards worldwide and has received invitations to perform at some of the world's most celebrated venues, including Carnegie Hall, the Walt Disney Concert Hall, and St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City.
As part of her 2026 national performance tour, she returned to the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall, where her featured solo performance earned four standing ovations. She has now appeared as a soloist at Carnegie Hall five times. In 2025, she attended the Opera for Peace U.S. Academy as a high-level auditor, participating in masterclasses and professional development programs with internationally renowned artists including Renée Fleming, Denyce Graves, and members of the Washington National Opera.
As a Youth Ambassador for Mercury Soul, Alliana actively helps introduce classical music to younger and more diverse audiences through innovative artistic experiences. Her artistic accomplishments have been recognized by the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, the California State Senate, California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, and other civic leaders for her artistic excellence, cultural leadership, and service to the community.
