Mercury Soul’s signature fusion of DJs, classical ensembles and immersive visuals comes to the historic San Francisco Mint!
This stunning Greek-revival structure, built in 1874 to accommodate the riches of the California Gold Rush, will be brought to life with visceral DJ sets and captivating pop-up classical performances. Indulge in cocktails beneath the night sky in the Mint’s courtyard, while being treated to a lavish blend of DJs and composers from San Francisco Opera’s stunning upcoming season.
Sets by DJ Masonic (Mason Bates) and DJ Justin Reed (illmeasures Chicago) are interspersed by performances of J.S. Bach, George Frideric Handel, Antonio Vivaldi, Barbara Strozzi, Michael Abels, and more! Including featured arias by soprano Marnie Breckenridge and baritone John Moore, who plays the title role SF Opera’s upcoming production of The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs. Featuring visuals by Mark Johns and performances by Friction Quartet, SFCM Brass, harpsichordist Kristie Janczyk and conductor Brad Hogarth.
